Books have always been central to our work. By ensuring they have access to age-appropriate, high-quality books, we help every child engage with words and intellectual exploration from an early age. But even more importantly, we promote healthy interactions—between caregiver and child, as well as between caregiver and provider—that ensure children receive the compassionate attention they need to thrive. We aspire to give every family a book at each well-child visit—more than 100,000 books per year and counting!

Reach Out and Read-Alabama program sites in the River Region are located at Partners in Pediatrics and Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program, with other practices currently in the process of completing their applications. Your donation will ensure these programs have the funds they need to get started and continue the program for the children and families they serve.
