An online book drive for our program sites

Reach Out and Read Alabama's work remains critical during this time. It is in such times of anxiety, when children most need to feel safe and loved – one of the best ways to support and engage children is to read books together.

With libraries and schools closed, we need your help to supply our pediatricians, family practitioners and pediatric nurse practitioners with the tools they need to build resilience by reading together.

To sustain the 52 Reach Out and Read-Alabama practices and clinics that are currently active, we need 44,800 books through the end of December.

We have worked with All About Books to put together an assortment of collections with educational themes and special characters that we all know and love. All About Books is going to take your donation one step further by committing to a 10% match of all proceeds raised during this book drive. We are proud to continue our partnership with All About Books in our efforts to promote early literacy across the state of Alabama. Founded in 2003, All About Books is a family owned book distributor located in Upstate NY and has helped us provide books for children over the years.
